Charismatic journalist Charlotte is on a mission to scope out Britain's best tea rooms. She knows she's found something special in the Seafront Tea Rooms but is it a secret she should share? Kathryn, a single mother whose only sanctuary is the 'Seafront', convinces Charlie to keep the place out of her article by agreeing to join her on her search. Together with another regular, Seraphine, a culture-shocked French au pair with a passion for pastry-making, they travel around the country discovering quaint hideaways and hidden gems. But what none of them expect is for their journey to surprise them with discoveries of a different kind . . .

Full of romance, tea and cake, The Seafront Tea Rooms is a heart-warming tale about the strength found in true friendship.

My Review
"The Seafront Tea Rooms" is a fun, light and quick read.

The narration is simple yet riveting in its own way. The shift in setting of locations undoubtedly helps initiate the backdrop and mood with each chapter. With constant change in places and environment, this book takes you the world of beautiful tea rooms, cafes and destinations.

In connection with tea rooms and cafes, 'The Seafront Tea Rooms" also explores love and friendship between its characters. It is a fast paced and heartwarming story of these three women - Kat, Charlotte and Seraphine. I like the way how they share heart to heart conversations filled with gratitude and heartfelt appreciation.

I particularly liked how author introduces the characters with all their eccentricities and circumstances. However, they deal  with different situations in their life, they get connected in Letty's Seafront Tea Rooms.

It is a simple and heartwarming tale of strangers turned into close friends. The major interaction relating to love, family and hope in these short stories are carried out in an interesting manner. Although, there were no thought provoking surprises in the story.

Also, if you are someone who is enthusiastic about baking, then you can also try out some amazing recipes mentioned at the end of this book.
